Job Opening:

Senior Technical Writer

Job Duties:

  • Prepare tactical and strategic asset allocation models. Create project plans and assist clients in content development of the seasonal capital planning documentation.
  • Utilize the knowledge of finance and fundamental investment concepts to translate technical financial and accounting concepts into written technical plan. Working with subject matter experts (SMEs), financial analysts, CPAs, Attorneys, in designing financial/business plans, editing content, creating an expenses budget, developing a cash-flow statement - The Cash Flow Projection, Income projections, Breakeven analysis, etc.
  • Analyze and synthesize accumulated financial and economic data on client corporations and individual investors to assess prospects and increasing likelihood of meeting job creation and investment requirements.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and assist in the preparation of the internal reporting package for L-1A and EB-5 clients. Develop conclusions/opinions based on analysis and assist management to make decisions that will improve the overall financial health of the project and likelihood of meeting immigration regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties, such as USCIS.
  • Develop communications across all channels: papers, video interviews, presentations, conferences, web content and social media. Collaborate with clients' company's management and product teams to create incisive content on their company's products and solutions. Provide diagrams, photographs, sketches, or charts to illustrate information. Collaborate with content stakeholders to understand and follow strategic direction, key objectives and themes for content.
  • Write technical business plans. Prepare monthly rolling revenue forecasts, quarterly operating plans and annual budgeting for L1 and EB-5 Corporate.
  • Assist clients in performing and reviewing financial analysis, investment analysis, corporate valuation, feasibility studies, and drafting business plans.
  • Provides recommendations for business decisions by analyzing and interpreting financial data. Assist in the development and modeling of the consolidated strategic plan including balance sheet & cash flow modeling, and scenario planning/management.
  • Review financial statements and investment projects statements of existing L-1 & EB-1c clients to revise the financial plan, create future investment plan. Provide corporate’s current financial status and recommendations on company’s assets allocation, investment decisions. Prepare trending analysis and profitability studies; utilizing system downloads from AS-400 and SAP in conjunction with Access and Excel modeling.
  • Write technical materials using background in finance, such as EB-5 investment project analysis, financial operating agreement, risk analysis, and job creation analysis.
  • Interview client’s accounting & financial team to become familiar with the investment projects. Study sales purchase agreements, project documentation, and assessment from third party agencies. Liaise with business leads to gather information, and provide reporting and information as needed in order to facilitate informed financial decisions to achieve financial targets.
  • Perform economic and job creation analysis, to establish that EB-5 business with creates 10 qualifying jobs, directly as the result of the qualifying investment.
  • Study the specific business type, conduct feasibility study, to prepare a comprehensive financial documentation to establish that the business will generate specified revenues and jobs.
  • Analyze client’s financial data to identify projected financial and operating trends and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks, which impact company’s valuation and negotiation.

Job Requirements:

Job entails working with and requires Masters of Science in Finance, Economics, or equivalent degree with 1 year of experience including: financial modeling, writing Eb-5 and L-1 business plans, developing compliance matrices, conducting market and feasibility studies, and economic analysis.
