Asma Bashir

Asma Bashir is a senior immigration counsel at SAC Attorneys LLP. She has more than eight years of experience of working in the area of immigration and naturalization law, focusing on employment (H-1b, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2/EB-3, TN, E-2, PERM, national interest waiver NIW), family, investment (EB-5), and complex immigration matters. She assists our domestic and international clients who need to hire foreign born employees, reunite with their overseas family members or petition for investment based immigration. She has experience of working both as an in house immigration specialist and as an attorney for small to medium size tech companies. Her expertise include drafting training manuals for HR managers from immigration perspective, filing complex H-1Bs, intra company transfer visas, audits for labor certificates and employment based immigrant visas.

She has excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills, honed not only from years of legal practice, but also from the experience she gained working with excellent colleagues. Because she has so much experience with what can happen when a filing goes wrong, she is very knowledgeable about the importance of the filings complying with the statute, the regulations, as well as agency and court interpretations of same.

Ms. Bashir is a graduate of UC Hastings College of Law and she is licensed to practiced in California.
